Gear Measurements CD

A Java computer program that will calculate pin and span measurements for spur and helical teeth, using diametral pitch or module. Any size pins can be used. A standard backlash will be calculated, or you can enter your own backlash allowance. Addendum modified teeth (long or short addendum) can be calculated. It can be run directly from the CD, or installed on your hard drive.

If you enter number of teeth, pitch, pressure angle, optional helix angle, X dimension and backlash, the program will calculate pin and span measurements. Or you can work it backward by entering a pin or span measurement, and it will attempt to calculate pitch, helix angle, backlash allowance, or whatever field you leave blank.
